Create art, not content.
Create. Capture. Share

If even thinking the words “𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” suddenly makes you want to clean your house, organize your sock drawer, and do your taxes, I have something for you to try this week.
Firstly, why do we hate content creation?
Because we do, right? No one is like, Yay, I get to make content today!
Creating content is a chore. It’s another thing on the endless to-do list.
But sharing your art with the world is a joy.
What’s the difference?
When you create content just to create content, you’re coming from a place of:
Obligation
Strategy
Selling
Fear
It’s the energy of desperation, which is the opposite of creativity.
And you hate doing it.
When you capture what you're already creating, you're coming from a place of:
Creativity
Connection
Sharing
Love for what you do
And your audience can feel it.
So this week, whenever you think, "I should make content for social media," try creating art instead.
Play your instrument, write, dance, paint, code, or build a spreadsheet. There are no rules on what you can consider your creative art.
Then, capture and share that art.
Set up a camera to record your rehearsal. Write a verse for a new song and share it. Take a before-and-after photo of your work on a painting.
Focus on the art, then produce the content from that, rather than making content the goal.
When you're burnt out from “creating content,” it's time to start capturing your magic instead.
Create. Capture. Share.
